Role : Senior Python Developer

About the Role :

We are seeking a Senior Python Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Python-based backend frameworks.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing scalable web applications, designing robust backend services, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

The role requires hands-on development experience, technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to contribute to architectural and design decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

Backend Development :

- Design and develop RESTful APIs using FastAPI, Django, or Flask.

- Implement business logic, data models, and scalable backend services.

- Work with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.

- Implement authentication and authorisation mechanisms using JWT/OAuth2.

- Write secure, maintainable, and high-performance backend code.

General Responsibilities :

- Participate in technical design, architecture discussions, and code reviews.

- Collaborate with product managers, QA teams, and other developers.

- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across the full application stack.

- Mentor junior developers and promote development best practices.

- Contribute to CI/CD processes, application deployments, and technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Backend :

- Strong experience with Python and frameworks such as FastAPI, Django, or Flask.

- Expertise in REST API development and microservices-based architecture.

- Experience with ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.

- Strong knowledge of database design, query optimisation, and data modelling.

Additional Skills :

- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Docker.

- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with GraphQL and TypeScript.

- Hands-on experience with unit and integration testing using Jest, React Testing Library, and pytest.

- Exposure to Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud-native applications.

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Education :

- Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent industry experience.
