Role : Senior Data Engineer

Job Description :

- Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data engineering solutions that support analytics, reporting, and business intelligence use cases across the organization.

- Work in an agile team environment, contributing to sprint planning, estimation, development, and continuous improvement of data platforms and pipelines.

- Deliver on sprint commitments by proactively collaborating with stakeholders to identify data requirements, dependencies, and potential risks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Scientists, Analysts, Architects, QA, and Product teams to deliver reliable and high-quality data solutions.

- Mentor junior data engineers and team members on data engineering best practices, tools, architecture, and performance optimization.

- Drive automation, CI/CD, and operational excellence across data pipelines, ETL processes, and cloud data platforms.

- Promote data governance, security-first, and quality-driven mindset across all data engineering initiatives.

Technical Competencies Required :

- 7+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering, Software Development, or related roles.

- Strong proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, SQL, and Stored Procedures.

- Extensive experience in data modeling and schema design.

- Expertise in ETL/ELT tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and Snowflake.

- Experience with SQL Server and relational databases.

- Hands-on experience with Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, or similar frameworks.

- 7+ years of experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

- Experience with RESTful APIs and data integration.

- Knowledge of data security and governance best practices

Education :

- UG : Any Graduate in Computer Science or related field

- PG : Preferred Postgraduate
