Location: Remote work

Key Responsibilities :

- Design and develop modern, high-performance Android applications using Kotlin and RxJava

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, UX/UI designers, and backend engineers

- Implement best practices in mobile architecture, performance, and security

- Work with RESTful APIs, background services, and offline storage mechanisms

- Write unit tests and participate in code reviews to ensure high-quality code

- Utilize CI/CD pipelines for seamless and automated app delivery

- Ensure the application is responsive and works flawlessly across different Android devices

- Optimize app performance and troubleshoot issues across various versions and screen sizes

- Keep up with new Android tools, libraries, and best practices to continuously improve development efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- 5+ years of professional experience in Android development

- Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java

- Deep understanding of RxJava and reactive programming paradigms

- In-depth knowledge of Android SDK, app lifecycle, Intents, RecyclerView, ViewModels, and architectural components

- Solid experience in writing unit tests, UI tests, and using JUnit, Mockito, or similar frameworks

- Familiarity with Jetpack Libraries, Navigation Components, Room DB, and Data Binding

- Experience with tools like Git, Gradle, Android Studio, and Firebase

- Exposure to CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Bitrise, or GitHub Actions

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail

- A portfolio of apps published on the Google Play Store (preferred)
