We are looking for a Head of Technology with a strong backend engineering background to lead the technical direction and engineering execution of a scalable, multi-tenant SaaS platform. The role requires hands-on expertise in Node.js and TypeScript, combined with strong architectural thinking and experience leading engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and drive the technology strategy, architecture, and engineering roadmap.

- Lead the design and development of scalable, secure, and highly available backend systems.

- Design and evolve multi-tenant SaaS architectures with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and reliability.

- Provide technical leadership across architecture, coding standards, system design, and engineering practices.

- Lead and mentor backend engineers and drive a strong engineering culture.

- Make key decisions around technology stack, architecture, scalability, and technical debt.

- Establish best practices for development, testing, CI/CD, observability, and production operations.

- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Business teams to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

- Drive system performance, reliability, security, and cost optimization.

- Stay hands-on with critical architectural and backend engineering initiatives.

Mandatory Skills :

- 7+ years of backend engineering experience.

- 2+ years in a Lead/Staff/Principal-level engineering role.

- Strong hands-on production experience with Node.js and TypeScript.

- Proven experience designing and building multi-tenant SaaS platforms.

- Strong expertise in backend architecture, APIs, distributed systems, and scalable application design.

- Experience leading technical teams and driving architecture decisions.

- Strong understanding of cloud-native development, CI/CD, security, observability, and production systems.
