Technology Engineer - DevOps/Oracle DBA

Role Overview :

We are looking for a Technology Engineer with a strong blend of Oracle Database Administration and DevOps Automation expertise.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing automation pipelines while supporting Oracle database environments.

This role requires hands-on experience in CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and scripting, along with a solid understanding of Agile development practices.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain automation pipelines (CI/CD) using tools like Jenkins and Groovy

- Implement and manage infrastructure automation using Ansible and Terraform

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline deployment processes

- Support and manage Oracle database environments (performance, availability, backup, recovery)

- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code/scripts following best practices

- Monitor and optimize system performance and reliability

- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives

Work with tools like JIRA for task tracking and user story management

Required Skills :

- Strong experience with Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, Git, and Groovy

- Hands-on experience in CI/CD pipeline creation and automation

- Solid understanding of Oracle Database Administration (Oracle DBA)

- Experience with scripting (Shell/Python preferred)

- Familiarity with version control systems (Git)

- Good understanding of DevOps practices and cloud-based automation

Exposure to Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA

Good to Have :

- Experience with Oracle RAC, Data Guard, or performance tuning

- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)

- Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes)

- Understanding of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, etc.)
