Role Overview :

We are looking for an accomplished Director Technology who combines deep Product Engineering expertise, hands-on technical leadership, GCC experience, and strong Technology Sales/Pre-Sales exposure.

The ideal candidate should be capable of driving technology strategy and engineering execution while partnering with customers and business teams on solutioning, proposals, technical presentations, RFP/RFI responses, POCs, and technology-led sales pursuits.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end Product Engineering, from architecture and design through development, modernization, deployment, and production excellence.

- Remain hands-on with architecture, solution design, technical reviews, POCs, and complex engineering problem-solving.

- Define technology roadmaps and drive cloud-native, scalable, resilient enterprise platforms.

- Build and scale high-performing engineering teams across products and technology workstreams.

- Drive modernization using microservices, APIs, cloud, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.

- Champion DevOps, CI/CD, automation, observability, reliability, security, and engineering excellence.

- Work effectively within GCC environments and collaborate with global engineering and business stakeholders.

- Play an active role in Technology Sales / Pre-Sales, including solutioning, client presentations, technical discovery, proposals, RFP/RFI responses, estimations, and POCs.

- Partner with sales/business teams to shape technology solutions and support deal pursuits.

- Engage with senior customer stakeholders, including CTOs, CIOs, Engineering Heads, and Product Leaders, to articulate technology strategy and solution value.

- Support new business development, account growth, and technology-led transformation opportunities.

- Mentor Engineering Managers, Architects, Principal Engineers, and other senior technical talent.

Must-Have Experience :

- 15+ years of technology experience with significant engineering leadership experience.

- Strong background in Product Engineering / Software Product Development.

- Experience working in a GCC / Global Capability Center environment.

- Strong Technology Sales / Pre-Sales experience with customer-facing solutioning and deal support.

- Experience with RFP/RFI responses, technical proposals, solution presentations, POCs, estimations, and solution architecture.

- Strong hands-on understanding of software architecture, system design, distributed systems, APIs, and microservices.

- Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Good understanding of modern engineering stacks such as Java, .NET, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, or equivalent.

- Experience with Kubernetes, containers, DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and SRE/reliability practices.

- Proven experience building and scaling enterprise-grade products/platforms and engineering teams.

- Strong communication, executive presence, and ability to influence global customers and senior stakeholders.

Preferred :

- Experience establishing or scaling Product Engineering capabilities within a GCC.

- Consulting/technology services experience involving client-facing technology sales and solutioning.

- Exposure to AI/ML, GenAI, data platforms, and intelligent product engineering.

- Experience taking solutions from customer requirement to solutioning, POC, proposal/deal, and engineering delivery.

- Experience supporting large strategic deals and transformation programs.

Ideal Candidate :

A hands-on technology leader with a strong commercial mindset - someone who can lead Product Engineering and GCC teams while also facing customers, understanding business problems, designing compelling technology solutions, driving POCs, and contributing to technology sales and deal closures.

This should not be a purely delivery or people-management profile. The candidate must demonstrate credible depth across Product Engineering, Architecture, GCC, and Tech Sales/Pre-Sales.
