Roles and responsibilities :

- Collaborating with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into efficient data models

- Designing, developing, and implementing data architecture solutions on GCP and Teradata to support our Telecom business.

- Designing data ingestion for both real-time and batch processing, ensuring efficient and scalable data acquisition for creating an effective data warehouse.

- Maintaining meticulous documentation, including data design specifications, functional test cases, data lineage, and other relevant artifacts for all data product solution assets.

- Implementing data architecture standards, as set by the data architecture team.

- Proactively identifying opportunities for automation and performance optimization within your scope of work

- Collaborating effectively within a product-oriented organization, providing data expertise and solutions across multiple business units.

- Cultivating strong cross-functional relationships and establish yourself as a subject matter expert in data and analytics within the organization.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

- Four or more years of relevant work experience.

- Expertise in building complex SQLs to do data analysis to understand and design data solutions

- Experience with ETL, Data Warehouse concepts and Data Management life cycle

- Experience in creating technical documentation such as Source to Target mapping, Source contract, SLA's etc

- Experience in any DBMS, preferably GCP/BigQuery

- Experience in Big Data technologies - GCP/Composer/Bigquery/DataFlow

- Experience in creating Data models using Erwin tool

- Experience in shell scripting and python

- Understanding of git version control and basic git command

- Understanding of Data Quality concepts
