What you'll be doing :

- Working with a team of Data Engineers to enable and build the Network Data Products on GCP and onpremise big data platforms

- Driving the technical design of large scale data platforms, utilizing modern and open source technologies, in a hybrid cloud environment

- Leading the data engineering development in delivering high performing big data pipelines by following AI&D Frameworks and industry standard

- Working closely with Network Data Science and Enablement Teams to understand the requirements and work closely with Network Systems Teams and other stakeholders for implementation and adoption.

- Building good work culture amongst global teams.

- Adhering to the organization priorities and policies

- Building external stakeholder communication with Business user and Data scientists

- Leading and manage vendors and their deliverable

- Mentoring teams and individuals with good experience in performance and talent management.

What we're looking for :

- Six or more years of relevant experience.

- Knowledge of Information Systems and their applications to data management processes.

- Experience performing detailed analysis of business problems and technical environments and designing the solution.

- Experience working with Google Cloud Platform & BigQuery Or Experience in onpremise big data platform

- Experience working with Bigdata Technologies & Utilities - Hadoop/Spark/Scala/Kafka/NiFi.

- Experience with relational SQL and NoSQL databases.

- Experience with data pipeline and workflow management & Governance tools.

- Experience with stream-processing systems.

- Experience with object-oriented/object function scripting languages.

- Experience building data solutions for Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence.

- Knowledge of Data Analytics and modeling tools.

You'll need to have :

- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

- Contributed to Open Source Data Warehousing.

- Certifications in any Data Warehousing/Analytical solutioning.

- Certifications in GCP.

- Ability to clearly articulate the pros and cons of various technologies and platforms.

- Experience collaborating with multi-functional teams and managing partner expectations.

- Written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced agile development environment.
