- Requirements Analysis & Business Liaison : Work techno/functionally to receive and translate business requirements directly from stakeholders and business partners into technical specifications, serving as a knowledgeable liaison.

- Module Configuration : Perform necessary configuration changes, table updates, and business process adjustments within the PeopleSoft application, particularly for annual changes or regulatory updates.

- Customization & Reporting : Develop and maintain PeopleSoft customizations, interfaces, reports (e.g., using SQR, PeopleTools, BI Publisher), and integration points.

- Self-Directed Work : Operate as a self-directed individual, taking ownership of tasks from requirement definition through testing and deployment with minimal supervision.

- Process Documentation : Create and maintain comprehensive technical and functional documentation for supported modules and custom components.

Required Skill Set (Mandatory Skills) :

- Experience : Strong, demonstrated professional experience supporting enterprise-level PeopleSoft HCM environments (assumed 7+ years based on dual role).

- Dual Expertise : Proven ability to function effectively in both a Technical (Developer) and Functional (Configurator/Analyst) capacity within PeopleSoft.

- Module Proficiency : Expert functional and technical knowledge of PeopleSoft Payroll, Time and Labor (T&L), and HCM Core modules.

- PeopleTools Development : Strong technical development skills using PeopleTools (PeopleCode, Application Engine, Integration Broker, Component Interface).

- SQL : Advanced proficiency in SQL for complex queries, troubleshooting, and data validation against the PeopleSoft database.

- Business Interaction : Demonstrated experience interacting directly with business partners to gather requirements and advise on best practices.

- Working Hours : Capability to work hours that overlap significantly with EST (Eastern Standard Time).

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with other PeopleSoft modules (Absence Management, Benefits).

- Familiarity with reporting tools such as SQR and BI Publisher.

- Prior experience supporting a legacy system during an organizational migration to a new platform (Workday).
