Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Team Lead with a strong command of REXX to guide our technical team in delivering innovative solutions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing project execution, ensuring adherence to best practices, and fostering a collaborative environment.

This role requires a deep understanding of REXX programming and the ability to mentor team members while driving technical excellence.

Responsibilities :

- Lead and manage a team of technical professionals, providing guidance and support in REXX development and implementation.

- Design, develop, and maintain REXX applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and deliverables.

- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members to enhance code quality.

- Identify and resolve technical issues, ensuring timely delivery of projects.

- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in REXX and related technologies.

- Facilitate knowledge sharing and training sessions to enhance team capabilities.

- Participate in project planning and estimation activities, contributing to resource allocation and scheduling.

- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and best practices in software development.

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong expertise in REXX programming language.

- COBOL, JCL and VSAM.

- Proficient in software development methodologies and best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Ability to lead and motivate a technical team.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Familiarity with other programming languages and technologies.

- Experience in Agile methodologies.

- Knowledge of database management systems.

- Understanding of software architecture and design patterns.

- Experience with version control systems.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Relevant certifications in software development or project management are a plus.
