Objectives and Responsibilities :


- Analyze, improve, and understand the workings of a Cloud Native Automated Quoting engine and become a technical guide to the team to ensure efficient performance.


- Handle a variety of technical support problemsfrom simple application or network configuration fixes to very sophisticated problem solving and problem resolution.


- Participate in the effort of crafting the architecture and design of AutoQuote solutions by actively helping the team in choosing the right technology, methodology and solving technical problems.


- Examine existing systems, identifying flaws, and crafting solutions to improve service uptime and time-to-resolve through monitoring and automated remediation.


- Fix and resolve issues related to the cloud services; implement long term fixes and automation to avoid repeat failures in the future.

Skills and Qualifications :


- BS degree in Computer Information Systems or related technical field involving information systems.


- Good communication skills : Ability to effectively communicate sophisticated technical concepts to both technical and non-technical customers in a clear and concise manner.


- Excellent presentation skills : Proficiency in delivering engaging and educational presentations to diverse audiences, showcasing technical solutions and project updates.


- Documentation expertise : Ability to create comprehensive technical documentation, including system diagrams, implementation plans, and user guides, with attention to detail and clarity.


- Client interaction : Experience in interacting with clients or end-users, actively listening to their needs, and providing appropriate technical solutions, while adapting communication style to suit different audiences.


- Problem-solving orientation : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, enabling the identification and resolution of technical issues in a timely manner, while effectively communicating the solution to relevant customers.


- Cloud platforms : Experience with one of AWS, GCP and/or Azure cloud. Experience with micro-services and containers (Docker, Heroku).


- Knowledge and/or experience of python and python rest frameworks.


- Continuous learning : Dedication to staying updated with the newest technologies, industry trends, and standard processes, and ability to share acquired knowledge with the team.


- Strong scripting and test automation abilities.
