About the role :

You'll be one of the first engineers on our data marketplace: how data owners discover, value and share their data, and how it becomes clean, rights-cleared, training-ready datasets for leading AI labs.

All of it securely, at scale, and without anyone seeing data they shouldn't.

This is a hands-on role.

You'll own real systems from day one, ship to production, and work closely with the marketplace lead, product, and our supply and BD teams.

As the team grows into several, early engineers will have the clearest path to leading parts of it.

What you'll work on :

- Distributed systems that move and process large volumes of data reliably, securely and cost-efficiently.

- Software that runs inside customers' environments: agents, CLIs, and integrations with dozens of third-party systems.

- Security-critical systems such as access control, encryption and audit trails, built so no one sees what they shouldn't.

- Customer-facing product: APIs, the web app, and the onboarding experience.

- Using LLMs and ML wherever they beat hand-written rules.

- Cloud infrastructure, CI/CD and observability.

- You'll work across the stack and go deep wherever the hardest problem is.

You have :

- 3 - 8 years building production software: backend, full-stack, infrastructure or systems.

- Strong fundamentals in distributed systems, databases, APIs and system design.

- Fluency in at least one of Python, Go, TypeScript or Java, and the ability to pick up others quickly.

- Systems you built that run in production, and you can explain the trade-offs you made.

- High agency: you learn fast and enjoy hard, ambiguous problems.

- You treat "how do we know it worked?" as part of the job.

- A degree from a Tier 1 engineering institution (IIT, BITS, NIT, IIIT or equivalent).

Nice to have :

- Built security-, privacy- or compliance-sensitive systems.

- Shipped software that runs on-prem or integrates with many third-party APIs.

- Hands-on with LLM-based tooling.

- Worked at an early-stage startup.
