Technical Staff Engineer - Firmware

Role Summary :

Seeking an experienced firmware technical leader to architect, design, and develop embedded firmware solutions for advanced storage and connectivity platforms. The role involves driving firmware architecture, performance optimization, customer engagements, and collaboration with global engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead firmware architecture, design, and development in C for embedded systems.

- Drive storage firmware solutions across SAS, SATA, NVMe, and PCIe technologies.

- Perform design reviews, debugging, performance optimization, and technical problem-solving.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to define and deliver innovative solutions.

- Mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership across projects.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.

- 10+ years of embedded firmware development experience.

- Strong expertise in C, embedded systems, storage protocols (SAS/SATA/NVMe), and PCIe.

- Experience with device drivers, firmware architecture, debugging, and performance analysis.

- Excellent technical leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred :

- Experience in firmware security, storage networking, RAID/storage controllers, and Green Hills tools.
