Job Description
Title : Technical Specialist (VDI)
Experience : 8 to 10 years
Location : Remote, Bangalore , Mumbai, Chennai
Shift timings- 5 : 30 pm to 2 : 30 am (US shift)
Pick up and drop facility available
Must Haves :
- Overall 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure.
- 4+years of experience in Omnissa Horizon
- Extensive hands-on experience (typically 4+ years) in enterprise VDI, Omnissa Horizon product suite, Omnissa workspaceone Access, Omnissa DEM, 3rd party IDM integration and supporting VMware/Microsoft technologies.
- 4+ years of proven experience with VMware Enterprise Products, EUC Horizon.
- Certification preferred : VMware VCAP/VCIX (Desktop & Mobility), AWS/Azure Architect, Omnissa Horizon.
Role And Responsibilities :
- Expertise in hybrid cloud architectures, including AWS, Azure, and on-premises solutions.
- Good knowledge on diagnostics & troubleshooting of Omnissa Horizon versions & understanding of ESXi, vSphere and cloud platforms.
- Experience with Log Analysis and basic scripting skill sets to automate daily operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; capable of translating technical requirements into actionable plans.
- Must have hands on deployment of Horizon infrastructure in large environment.
- Experience in handling creating HLD, LLDs and solution documents.
- Good knowledge on the Horizon Suite and troubleshooting user level issues.
- TCP/IP knowledge with good foundation on LAN Technologies such as network switching and routing and DNS, etc.
- Good Windows Server Administration and troubleshooting Skills
- Good hands-on skills in Hyper converged infrastructure
Primary Skill Set :
- Overall 8+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure.
- 4+ years of proven experience with VMware Enterprise Products, EUC Horizon
- Certification preferred : VMware VCAP/VCIX (Desktop & Mobility), AWS/Azure Architect, Omnissa Horizon.
Secondary Skill Set :
- 100% Fluency on English
- Good verbal and Written Communication
- Good Team player work with senior team members, conduct technical session, mentoring L1 team members
- Ability to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction
- An interface with Customers and Third party OEMs and HW vendors is expected raising call with Microsoft, VMware and other vendors
- Self-motivated and Results oriented
- Expected to work US and UK shifts based on the organizational needs and be available to be on- call on a rotational basis including night shifts
