About the Role :
We are seeking a highly skilled and technically adept Technical Solution Manager to join a mission-critical digital delivery team for one of our premier clients. This role requires a strategic thinker who possesses a deep technical foundation, excels in cross-functional coordination, and has proven experience in software delivery leadership. The ideal candidate will act as the bridge between engineering, product management, and business stakeholders ensuring the technical roadmap aligns with the business vision while driving execution excellence across distributed teams.
Key Responsibilities :
Technical Leadership & Solution Architecture :
- Provide end-to-end solution guidance across product modules, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with enterprise architecture principles.
- Represent the technical function in client-facing meetings, translating complex business requirements into sustainable, high-quality technical solutions.
- Collaborate closely with enterprise architects and technical leads to define optimal solution paths while enforcing architectural integrity and technical best practices.
Cross-Functional Delivery Management :
- Orchestrate software delivery across multiple geographically distributed development teams, ensuring consistent and on-time delivery of features.
- Align engineering deliverables with product objectives throughout the SDLC from ideation and planning to delivery and deployment.
- Identify inter-team dependencies and proactively mitigate risks that may impede delivery velocity or platform stability.
Stakeholder Engagement & Communication :
- Act as the primary interface between technical teams and product owners, managing expectations and ensuring clarity around deliverables and timelines.
- Drive technical discussions with stakeholders, presenting design trade-offs, alternative approaches, and solution recommendations based on sound engineering rationale.
- Negotiate scope with product managers to strike the right balance between business priorities and technical feasibility.
Quality Assurance & Governance :
- Oversee the integration of Quality Assurance strategies and automation testing processes into the delivery pipeline.
- Ensure compliance with coding standards, architectural guidelines, and release readiness criteria.
- Support incident and problem management by contributing to post-mortem reviews and continuous improvement practices.
Team Coaching & Capability Building :
- Guide and mentor squad leads to drive technical excellence and team empowerment.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous learning within and across teams.
- Conduct periodic reviews to assess team performance and identify areas for improvement or support.
Required Skills & Experience :
Technical Competencies :
- Strong background in software engineering, ideally in full-stack or backend development.
- Solid understanding of modern architectural styles (e.g., microservices, event-driven architectures, domain-driven design).
- Hands-on familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and cloud-native development (AWS/Azure/GCP).
- Deep experience in Agile methodologies, Scrum, or SAFe environments.
Delivery & Leadership :
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, multi-team delivery initiatives with complex interdependencies.
- Ability to translate business needs into technical action plans while maintaining engineering discipline.
- Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Miro, Git, Jenkins, and monitoring platforms (e.g., Grafana, Datadog, New Relic).
