The SME will leverage their in-depth knowledge of Aruba Central's cloud-managed networking platform to design, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot wired, wireless, and SD-Branch networks

- Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise in the design and implementation of network solutions

- Lead technical discussions and workshops with clients and internal teams to identify requirements and develop solutions.

- Design, deploy, and manage scalable and resilient network architectures, including LAN and Wireless solutions

- Develop and maintain network design documentation, diagrams, and standard operating procedures.

- Ensure seamless integration of routing and switching solutions, optimizing for performance and reliability

- Coordinate with different vendors, partners and service providers as and when needed

- Train and mentor network engineers on best practices for deploying and managing Aruba Network

- Develop detailed network design documents, including topologies, configurations, and operational procedures

- Perform root cause analysis for network incidents and implement preventive measures

- Utilize moderate to complex lab setups to recreate and solve project implementation problems.

- Support in building setup for customer DEMO/POC.

Excellent knowledge on :

- Configure, manage, and optimize Aruba Central for wireless, switching, and SD-Branch environments.

- Provide technical leadership in onboarding and configuring devices in Aruba Central (APs, switches, gateways).

- Implement and enforce best practices for network management and security within Aruba Central.

- Develop automation scripts using Aruba Central APIs to streamline network management tasks.

- Integrate Aruba Central with third-party platforms for monitoring, ticketing, and analytics(e. , Splunk, ServiceNow).

- Design scalable and robust network solutions tailored to organizational needs using Aruba Central.

- Plan and execute large-scale deployments, upgrades, and migrations.

- Familiarity with scripting languages (e. , Python, JavaScript) and RESTful APIs

- Hands-on experience with Aruba Instant APs, Aruba switches.

- Proficient in network protocols (e. , VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP) and wireless technologies (e. , 802. 11 standards.

- Integrate with NAC solutions-Clearpass Aruba OS-CX and AOS-S knowledge

- Familiarity with Aruba switch operating systems (AOS-CX and AOS-S).

- Using Aruba Central for centralized switch configuration and monitoring.

- Configuring Aruba-specific features like Dynamic Segmentation and Zero Trust security enforcement.

Experience :

- 8+ years of related experience in Customer facing Organization from the SI/Telco domain with with a focus on switching, routing, and wireless technologies.

- Proven experience in network design, implementation, and troubleshooting in large-scale environments.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences

- Hands-on implementation experience on Configuring, managing, and optimizing Aruba Central for wireless, switching

- Strong understanding of networking protocols (OSPF, BGP, VLANs, STP) and security practices

- Optimise network performance using Aruba Central for both wireless and wired networks, ensuring alignment with business goals

- Familiarity with integrating Aruba Central with other network management tools

- Strong knowledge of networking protocols, security practices, and cloud networking.

- Good understanding and Knowledge on IP and related protocols (ARP, ICMP, TCP, UDP, DNS, DHCP),

- Familiarity with other SD-WAN and wireless vendors and technologies

- Ability to work independently and lead projects with minimal supervision

- Experience with network automation and orchestration tools.

- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both
technical and non-technical audiences
