About the Role :

We are looking for a highly motivated and hands-on Technical Project Manager / Technical Lead with strong expertise in .NET Core, SQL Server, and Agile Delivery. This role requires a unique blend of technical leadership and delivery ownership, where the individual will be responsible for driving end-to-end project execution while actively contributing to solution design, technical decision-making, code reviews, and engineering excellence.

The ideal candidate should have prior experience leading development teams in product-based or SaaS environments and possess the ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions. This is not a coordination-only role; we are looking for someone who can challenge assumptions, drive accountability, resolve bottlenecks, and ensure successful delivery outcomes.

Key Responsibilities :

Project & Delivery Management :

- Own end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timely and high-quality execution.

- Plan and manage sprint activities, releases, deliverables, and project milestones.

- Track task-level progress, identify risks, and proactively drive issue resolution.

- Monitor project health, delivery timelines, and team productivity.

- Ensure accurate estimation, planning, and execution of development activities.

- Challenge unrealistic estimates and drive fact-based planning discussions.

- Maintain visibility of project status and communicate progress to stakeholders.

Technical Leadership :

- Translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.

- Participate in architecture discussions, technical design reviews, and solution planning.

- Conduct code reviews and enforce engineering best practices.

- Guide development teams on design patterns, coding standards, and system architecture.

- Provide technical mentorship and support to developers.

- Ensure application scalability, reliability, maintainability, and performance.

.NET Development & System Design :

- Lead the development of enterprise applications using .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web APIs.

- Design and implement Microservices-based architectures.

- Review application architecture and recommend improvements where necessary.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve complex technical challenges.

- Drive continuous improvement in application performance and engineering processes.

Database & Performance Optimization :

- Optimize SQL Server queries, stored procedures, and database performance.

- Ensure efficient indexing strategies and database design practices.

- Analyze system bottlenecks and implement performance tuning recommendations.

- Drive improvements in application responsiveness and scalability.

Agile & Stakeholder Management :

- Lead Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Collaborate with Product Managers, Business Teams, Architects, and Engineering stakeholders.

- Ensure alignment between business expectations and technical delivery.

- Drive accountability across teams and ensure closure of critical action items.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 8 to 12 years of experience in Software Development with at least 3+ years in a Technical Lead or Technical Project Management role.

- Strong hands-on expertise in .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC, and Web API development.

- Advanced knowledge of SQL Server including query optimization, indexing, and performance tuning.

- Experience designing and implementing REST APIs and Microservices Architecture.

- Strong understanding of System Design, Application Architecture, and Scalable Software Development.

- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies and project delivery frameworks.

- Experience using Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar project management tools.

- Proven ability to manage delivery commitments while maintaining technical quality.
