About the Role :

We are seeking a technically strong Project Manager with hands-on understanding of Java-based systems, AWS cloud services, and modern software delivery practices.

In this role, you will manage the end-to-end delivery of complex software projects, collaborating closely with solution architects, engineering teams, and product stakeholders.

The ideal candidate combines technical fluency, agile leadership, and data-driven decision-making to ensure high-quality, on-time project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and manage cross-functional Scrum teams to deliver projects on time, within scope, and to quality standards.

- Collaborate with solution architects and technical leads to understand system design, dependencies, and integration points.

- Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clarity on project progress, risks, and deliverables.

- Drive Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.

- Identify and mitigate project risks, manage issues, and proactively remove delivery blockers.

- Track and report project health, velocity, and delivery metrics using data-driven insights.

- Manage dependencies across multiple teams to maintain alignment with business goals and delivery timelines.

- Ensure proper documentation of requirements, design decisions, and delivery progress.

- Oversee deployment readiness, change management, and post-release reviews.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications

- 6+ years of experience in project or program management within a technology organization.

- Strong technical understanding of Java-based application architecture and AWS cloud services.

- Proven experience leading Agile/Scrum teams in a delivery-focused environment.

- Ability to interpret and discuss solution design documents, sequence diagrams, and technical specifications.

- Strong command of Agile metrics (burn-down charts, velocity, throughput) and delivery dashboards.

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of translating technical concepts for business teams.

- Proficiency with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, GitHub, or similar platforms.

- Highly data-driven, with the ability to analyze delivery trends and identify improvement opportunities.

- Demonstrated ability to manage priorities across multiple concurrent initiatives.

Good-to-Have Skills :

- Certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2) or Agile methodologies (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP).

- Exposure to microservices architecture and API-driven systems.

- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.

- Experience managing distributed or remote development teams.

- Working knowledge of cloud-native design principles and infrastructure automation.

- Prior experience in client-facing project delivery or consulting engagements.
