Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager (Java) to lead end-to-end project delivery for enterprise-grade applications and technology initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical foundation in Java development, cloud technologies, and DevOps, along with proven expertise in project delivery, stakeholder management, and team leadership.

This role requires managing cross-functional teams, vendors, and global stakeholders while ensuring timely delivery, high-quality releases, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own and drive end-to-end project lifecycle management including planning, execution, monitoring, risk management, and closure.

- Manage multiple projects/programs simultaneously, ensuring alignment with business goals and delivery timelines.

- Define project scope, timelines, resource allocation, budgets, and deliverables.

- Track project milestones and proactively identify risks, dependencies, and blockers.

- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, QA, DevOps, SRE, infrastructure, and vendors.

- Manage resource planning, workload distribution, and productivity optimization across teams.

- Mentor team members and foster a collaborative, high-performance work culture.

- Collaborate with engineering teams on solution design, architecture discussions, and technical roadmaps.

- Ensure projects align with technical standards, scalability, performance, and security requirements.

- Drive project execution using Agile/Scrum and Waterfall methodologies.

- Facilitate sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, daily standups, and release planning.

- Sprint dashboards

Release & Environment Management :

- Work closely with SRE, DevOps, and Environment teams for release planning and production deployments.

- Ensure production issues, hotfixes, and post-release activities are managed effectively.

- Support incident management and resolution tracking.

Stakeholder Management :

- Partner with business leaders, engineering heads, and global stakeholders across :

1. US

2. Europe

3. Ireland

4. India

- Provide regular project status updates, executive reporting, and risk escalations.

- Manage client expectations and ensure business alignment.

- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and efficiency improvements.

- Stay updated on AI tools, automation trends, and emerging technologies to improve delivery practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 9-15 years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years in Project/Program Management.

- Strong technical background in :

1. Java / Spring Boot

2. AWS

3. Oracle SQL/PLSQL

4. DevOps tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker, Kubernetes)

- Experience managing distributed/global teams and external vendors.

- Strong knowledge of SDLC, release management, and software delivery best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
