Position : Technical Project Manager & PMO (Sr. Manager Level)
Report to : Chief Information Officer

The Lead Process Re-engineering & PMO is responsible for driving enterprise-wide process optimization, establishing governance frameworks, and ensuring structured execution of all IT initiatives across Digital, SAP, Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, and business-enablement projects.
This role will create and lead the IT Program Management Office (PMO), institutionalizing standards, delivery methodologies, reporting mechanisms, and compliance processes. The position requires strong analytical, communication, process re-engineering, vendor coordination, and stakeholder management capabilities to ensure that IT operates with efficiency, predictability, and transparency.
Key Responsibilities :
1. Process Excellence & Re-engineering :
- Lead process discovery, process mapping, re-engineering, and simplification across IT and business functions.
- Develop standardized templates, workflows, SOPs, RACI matrices, and process documentation for all key IT processes.
- Analyze existing processes for bottlenecks, inefficiencies, risks, and automation opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Digital team to identify automation potential using RPA, GenAI, workflow platforms, and self-service solutions.
- Introduce process performance KPIs, SLAs/OLAs, and continuous improvement cycles.
- Champion adoption of Lean, Six Sigma, and industry best practices across IT.
2. Project Management Office (PMO) Leadership :
- Establish a unified IT PMO covering governance, project methodology, templates, budgets, and delivery standards.
- Ensure structured execution of all IT initiatives including Digital, SAP improvements, Cybersecurity uplift, Infrastructure upgrades, and corporate-wide technology programs.
- Maintain a centralized portfolio of all IT programs with clear visibility on scope, priorities, risks, interdependencies, effort, budgets, and timelines.
- Conduct periodic reviews with project managers, solution leads, and business stakeholders.
- Build and maintain RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) for all initiatives.
- Develop a predictable delivery rhythm across IT with sprint planning, milestone tracking, and exception management.
3. Governance, Reporting & Executive Communication :
- Prepare high-quality dashboards, MIS reports, KPIs, and performance scorecards for CIO and senior management.
- Provide structured updates on project progress, resource utilization, delivery risks, and value realization.
- Establish governance mechanisms including steering committees, project review forums, weekly leadership reviews, and cross-functional huddles.
- Maintain documentation repositories, project artifacts, and audit-ready evidence for all critical initiatives.
- Drive consistent communication flow across all IT pillars to minimize silos and improve transparency.
4. Policy, Compliance & Maturity Improvement :
- Develop and maintain IT process policies, standards, governance frameworks, and compliance controls.
- Support IT audits (internal/external) by ensuring process evidence, documentation trails, SOPs, and policy compliance.
- Conduct maturity assessments of IT processes using industry models (CMMI, COBIT, ITIL).
- Ensure continuous improvement of ITSM processes including incident, change, problem, release, and asset management.
- Work closely with Security, Infrastructure, Digital, and SAP teams to ensure governance alignment across the organization.
5. Stakeholder Alignment & Change Management :
- Drive collaboration between IT and business units to ensure alignment of priorities, deliverables, and ROI expectations.
- Manage stakeholder communication, workshops, training sessions, and process onboarding activities.
- Support organizational change management during digital transformation, modernization, and automation initiatives.
- Work with HR to support training plans, competency frameworks, and capability enhancement for IT teams.
6. Vendor & Partner Coordination :
- Coordinate with external vendors, consulting partners, and service providers involved in project delivery or process improvement.
- Track vendor commitments, ensure timely deliverables, and conduct periodic performance evaluations.
- Support contract governance by validating timelines, deliverables, and compliance to agreed frameworks.
Competencies :
- Excellent process mapping, analytical, documentation, and presentation skills.
- Strong understanding of PMO methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid), governance frameworks, and delivery lifecycle.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder influence capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
- Experience driving enterprise-wide transformation, re-engineering, and standardization initiatives.
- Strong vendor, partner, and cross-functional coordination skills.
- Knowledge of ITIL, ITSM processes, and technology modernization trends.
Qualifications & Experience :
- 8 to 12 years of experience in PMO, process excellence, transformation, IT governance, or consulting roles.
- Proven experience leading large-scale process and governance initiatives.
- Preferred certifications : Lean Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), PMP, Prince2, Agile/Scrum certifications, ITIL.
- Experience working with senior business stakeholders and leading structured governance forums.
