Description :
- Lead and manage the complete project lifecycle from requirement gathering to delivery and post-implementation support.
- Plan, execute, monitor, and close projects ensuring quality, scope, timeline, and budget goals are met.
- Collaborate with clients, business analysts, developers, and QA teams to define project scope and deliverables.
- Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure timely delivery of projects with adherence to organizational and client standards.
- Manage project documentation, reporting, and communication with stakeholders.
- Drive project governance and process improvements.
- Track team performance and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Leverage domain knowledge in travel systems (GDS, booking engines, APIs, etc.) to guide the technical team.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 8 to 12 years of total experience, with minimum 3-5 years in a Project Manager role within the Travel IT domain.
- Strong understanding of travel technologies booking systems, GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo), travel APIs, B2B/B2C portals, etc.
- Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall).
- Strong technical acumen ability to understand software architecture, integrations, and delivery challenges.
- Proven track record in delivering projects on time and within scope.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- PMP / PRINCE2 / Agile certification is a plus.
Preferred candidate profile :
- Based in Bangalore or willing to relocate.
- Prior experience working with travel technology companies or travel management platforms
