Role Overview :
We are looking for a hands-on Technical Project Manager who combines strong engineering knowledge with project leadership. You will own the end-to-end delivery of complex, large-scale software systems, working closely with architects, developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.
This role demands someone who can dive deep technically, understand system architecture, and drive execution with modern engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities :
Technical Program Leadership :
- Lead the end-to-end SDLC : requirement analysis, architecture review, sprint planning, development oversight, testing, release, and post-production monitoring.
- Review technical feasibility of product requirements and work closely with engineering leads to define solutions.
- Own project delivery KPIs including velocity, code quality, defect density, uptime, and release frequency.
Engineering Alignment :
- Drive Agile/Scrum practices, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Translate business requirements into architecture diagrams, wireframes, and technical specs.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on API design, microservices integration, cloud deployments, CI/CD pipelines, and security compliance.
Technology Stack Oversight :
- Ensure projects leverage modern frameworks and cloud-native architectures (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Enforce DevOps automation across build, test, deployment, and monitoring.
- Guide teams in adopting best practices for version control (Git), code reviews, test automation, and observability.
Cross-Functional & Stakeholder Collaboration :
- Act as the technical bridge between developers, QA, product owners, and business stakeholders.
- Anticipate risks in scalability, performance, and securityand proactively design mitigations.
- Deliver detailed technical reports, architecture assessments, and roadmap updates to leadership.
Technical Skills & Requirements :
- Education : B.E/B.Tech/M.Tech/MCA (MBA a plus but not mandatory).
- Experience : 3 to 5 years managing complex enterprise software projects with direct involvement in engineering practices.
Mandatory Technical Skills :
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, and system architecture.
- Experience managing projects with modern tech stacks (Java, Golang, Node.js, Python, .NET, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of API-first design, REST/GraphQL, and integration workflows.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL & NoSQL MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra).
- Strong command over cloud ecosystems (AWS/Azure/GCP), Kubernetes, and containerization (Docker).
- Exposure to DevOps toolchains : Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, SonarQube.
- Hands-on with project management tools (JIRA, Trello, Confluence) and wireframing tools (Figma, Balsamiq).
- Solid grounding in QA automation concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring (ELK, Grafana, Prometheus).
