Technical Program Manager - Agile Methodologies

Requirements :

- Experience : 4-6 years of experience in a Technical Program Manager, Project Manager, or similar role, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex, cross-functional technical projects.

- Client-facing experience : Demonstrable experience working directly with external clients, particularly in the banking or NBFC sectors, is essential.

- API proficiency : A strong understanding of RESTful APIs, web services, and a solid grasp of API documentation (e. g., Swagger/OpenAPI). You should be comfortable discussing API functionality and integration workflows with both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Technical acumen : A solid technical background with the ability to understand and contribute to discussions about software architecture, system design, and data flows.

- Project management expertise : Proficiency in project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, or Kanban.

- Communication skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to a diverse audience.

- Problem-Solving Abilities : Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

- Educational Background : A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

Key Responsibilities :

- Project Management : Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects from initiation to closure. This includes defining project scope, creating detailed project plans, managing timelines, and allocating resources.

- Client Management : Serve as the primary point of contact for external clients, understanding their business needs and translating them into technical requirements for our engineering teams.

- Technical Acumen : Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand system architecture, data flows, and software design. You will be expected to contribute to technical discussions and make informed decisions.

- API Expertise : Utilize your strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services to discuss functionality, integration workflows, and API documentation (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI) with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Methodology & Process : Apply your expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban) to optimize workflows, facilitate meetings, and ensure the team is operating efficiently.

- Communication : Clearly articulate complex technical concepts, project status, risks, and dependencies to a diverse audience, including executive leadership, engineering teams, and clients.

- Problem-Solving : Proactively identify and resolve project risks and issues. You will be expected to analyze complex situations, propose solutions, and make data-driven decisions.
