Required Skills :

- Experience working on APIs, platforms, or integration-focused products.

- Strong understanding of API technologies

- Experienced in Retail & Ecommerce Industry

- Skilled at writing product requirements, managing backlogs, and working with engineering teams in Agile environments.

- Ability to define and track technical OKRs and platform KPIs.

- Excellent communication skills and comfort engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Familiarity with API tools such as Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, Apigee, or Kong.

- Experience in platform, B2B SaaS, or developer-focused products.

- Understanding of API lifecycle management, governance, and documentation best practices.

- Exposure to CI/CD, observability, or cloud platforms (Azure) is a plus.

Responsibilities :

- API Product Ownership : Define and manage the roadmap for API productsfocusing on functionality, usability, performance, and scalability.

- API Requirement Gathering & Delivery : Gather requirements from multiple team, design data contracts, agree with all the stakeholders on the API capability roadmaps and work with engineering and architects to deliver the features

- Platform Advancement : Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to evolve our API infrastructure, standards, and developer tooling.

- Technically Fluent : Engage in deep technical conversations around RESTful APIs, authentication, payloads, rate limiting, and versioning. You dont need to codebut you need to understand how the tech works.

- Drive OKRs : Own and manage platform-level objectives and key results (OKRs), including API adoption, uptime, latency, and developer satisfaction.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work across engineering, product, security, and external partners to ensure API capabilities align with business objectives.

- Governance & Standards : Define and enforce API standards, including documentation, version control, deprecation policies, and access management.

- Product-Led Insights : Analyze usage metrics, gather stakeholder feedback, and iterate quickly to improve the platform.
