Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant -Tech Lead, SFDC!

The Salesforce Technical Lead plays a pivotal role in leading the design, development, and delivery of Salesforce-based solutions across multiple business domains. This role combines hands-on Salesforce development, technical leadership, and architectural guidance to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing implementations.

The Tech Lead will guide a team of developers, collaborate with business and functional teams, and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and Salesforce best practices.

Responsibilities :

1. Technical Leadership & Delivery Ownership :

- Lead the technical design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions across multiple clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, etc.).

- Translate business requirements into robust, scalable, and high-performing technical designs.

- Oversee and contribute to development using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and declarative tools.

- Drive implementation of DevOps, CI/CD, and agile delivery best practices.

- Conduct code reviews, performance assessments, and ensure adherence to best practices and governance standards.

- Own the end-to-end technical quality of all deliverables within assigned projects.

2. Solution Design & Architecture Support :

- Work closely with Solution Architects to design technical architectures, data models, and integration patterns.

- Create detailed technical design documents (TDDs), data flow diagrams, and system integration plans.

- Recommend optimal platform features and Salesforce-native capabilities to meet business needs efficiently.

- Contribute to architecture governance, ensuring compliance with security, data, and performance standards.

- Drive continuous improvement in design, coding, and delivery processes.

3. Hands-On Development & Problem Solving :

- Develop complex Apex classes, triggers, LWC components, Aura Components, and automation processes (Flows, Process Builders).

- Build and manage API integrations with external systems (REST/SOAP, MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica, etc.).

- Handle data migrations, bulk processing, and optimization for large data volumes (LDV).

- Troubleshoot critical production issues, identify root causes, and drive long-term technical resolutions.

- Collaborate with QA teams for test planning, coverage, and defect resolution.

4. Team Leadership & Mentorship :

- Lead a team of Salesforce developers and configuration specialists, providing technical direction, guidance, and mentoring.

- Assign and review tasks, ensuring delivery quality and timelines.

- Coach team members on Salesforce design patterns, coding standards, and performance optimization.

- Conduct technical training sessions and promote skill development within the team.

- Foster a collaborative environment focused on innovation and continuous learning.

5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement :

- Partner with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Functional Consultants, and Architects to refine requirements and validate technical feasibility.

- Communicate technical solutions effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Provide estimates, risk assessments, and technical input during project planning and sprint reviews.

- Participate in client workshops, demos, and architecture walkthroughs.

- Ensure technical alignment across all development streams in large programs.

6. Innovation & Continuous Improvement :

- Stay updated on the latest Salesforce releases, platform innovations, and ecosystem trends.

- Explore opportunities to integrate AI, automation, and Agentic workflows (Einstein GPT, Flow Orchestration, etc.) into solutions.

- Identify areas for refactoring, reusability, and performance optimization.

- Contribute to the organizations Salesforce accelerators, best practice repositories, and POCs.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualification :

Education :

- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Experience :

- Proven experience leading Salesforce development teams in enterprise-scale, multi-cloud environments.

- Strong expertise in :

1. Apex (classes, triggers, batch, schedulable, test classes)

2. Lightning Web Components (LWC) and Aura Components

3. SOQL/SOSL, REST/SOAP APIs

4. Salesforce Flows, Process Builders, and Orchestration

5. Security model, profiles, permission sets, and sharing rules

6. HMTL5, CSS3 and Javascript

- Experience in DevOps (Copado, Gearset, Jenkins) and version control (Git).

- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery models and ceremonies.

Preferred Qualification :

Certifications (Preferred) :

- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I (mandatory)

- Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II (preferred)

- Salesforce Certified Application Architect or System Architect (advantageous)

- Salesforce Administrator or App Builder Certification (nice to have)

- Relevant Salesforce Cloud certifications (Sales, Service, Experience)
