Position Overview :

We are looking for a Senior Magento Developer (Magento 2 / Commerce Cloud) to join our growing technology team. This role is ideal for a passionate developer who thrives on solving complex problems, building scalable eCommerce solutions, and mentoring junior engineers.

You will collaborate with design, QA, and product teams to develop, configure, and deploy Magento-based eCommerce websites and integrations that deliver exceptional digital experiences for our clients.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Magento 2 / Commerce Cloud websites and extensions.

- Build and configure Magento eCommerce solutions aligned with business and customer requirements.

- Customize Magento themes, templates, modules, and front-end elements.

- Lead and guide developers by conducting code reviews, enforcing quality standards, and mentoring team members.

- Collaborate with design teams to translate UI/UX requirements into functional, responsive interfaces.

- Work with the ece-tools package to apply patches and manage production deployments.

- Research, implement, and integrate third-party modules, plugins, and APIs.

- Optimize performance, security, and scalability across Magento environments.

- Troubleshoot and debug live issues efficiently while ensuring minimal downtime.

- Write clean, modular, and maintainable code following Magento coding standards.

- Contribute ideas to improve architecture, automation, and process efficiency.

Technical Requirements :

- 5- 10 years of professional experience in Magento 2 / Commerce Cloud development.

- Strong understanding of Magento architecture, design patterns, and theme components.

- Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and AJAX.

- Experience with React JS or other modern frontend frameworks is a plus.

- Knowledge of Magento module development, extensions, and third-party integrations.

- Strong understanding of OOP concepts, MVC architecture, and web services (REST/SOAP).

- Experience with performance tuning, SEO optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.

- Hands-on with version control tools (GitHub, Bitbucket) and DevOps workflows (Jenkins, CI/CD).

- Knowledge of Elasticsearch, Message Queue Frameworks, and cloud environments (AWS / Azure) preferred.

- Familiarity with eCommerce security, scalability, and accessibility best practices.
