Technical Lead/Senior Developer - WERCS

Technical lead - Senior developer and technical representative with expertise in building and enhancing WERCS software by UL Solutions supporting EH&S, and regulatory compliance and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure flawless execution of WERCS initiatives and continuous improvement projects.

The ideal candidates have in-depth expertise with WERCS and EH&S regulations who can configure, customize and enhance the tool, provide in-depth application guidance and lead L4 troubleshooting and continuous improvement projects.

Must have Technical background, analytical skills, in-depth knowledge of system integration, APIs, DTE interface, and SQL.

Domain : EH&S (Environment, Health & Safety) and Regulatory Compliance

Focus : Building, enhancing, configuring, and maintaining WERCS software by UL Solutions, ensuring compliance, integration, and continuous improvement.

Core Responsibilities :

- Act as technical representative and subject-matter expert (SME) for WERCS.

- Develop, configure, and enhance WERCS applications.

- Lead Level 4 (L4) technical troubleshooting and continuous improvement projects.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g compliance, operations, IT).

- Ensure regulatory compliance within the EH&S domain.

- Integrate systems using APIs and DTE (Data Transfer Engine).

- Provide technical and application guidance to business stakeholders.

Required Technical Skills :

- EHS Specialist w/ COTS software expertise with WERCS.

- Strong technical background in and proficiency with WERCS and its functionalities

- Software development/DBMS skills (SQL and .NET)

- In-depth knowledge of system integration; Must have strong skills with API technology and DTE (Data Transfer Engine) interface.

- Determine, implement, and monitor WERCS to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

- Knowledge in regulatory and risk management assessment for compliance to applicable regulations including but not limited to GHS, DG, TSCA, OSHA, EPA, EU REACH, ECHA, etc.

- Lead as a technical representative and assist the stakeholders and business owners to meet.

Skill Area :

- WERCS Software- Expert-level experience with configuration, customization, and functionality.

- Programming/DBMS- Proficient in SQL and .NET.

- System Integration- Strong experience with API technologies and DTE interfaces.

- Regulatory Knowledge- Understanding of global EH&S regulations (GHS, DG, TSCA, OSHA, EPA, EU REACH, ECHA).

- Technical Leadership- Able to act as a senior technical representative guiding stakeholders and ensuring compliance.
