Job Description

About the Role :

Were seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Lead (FSL) to own end-to-end technical delivery across Field Service Lightning, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, and Data Cloud.

Youll lead a squad of engineers, define scalable architectures, enforce best practices, and ensure high-quality, timely releases for complex, field-serviceheavy programs.


Key Responsibilities :

- Technical Leadership : Lead a cross-functional Salesforce team (developers, admins, QA) across design, build, code reviews, and release.

- Solution Design : Translate business requirements into secure, scalable architectures on FSL/Service Cloud/Sales Cloud/Data Cloud (object model, integrations, data, security).

- Hands-on Development : Build on Lightning, LWC, Aura, Apex (classes, triggers, batch, schedulable, queueable), SOQL/SOSL.

- FSL Specialization : Configure territories, work types, skills, service appointments, dispatch console, optimization policies, mobile flows, offline sync, geolocation.

- Integrations : Design and implement REST/SOAP integrations, external services, platform events; work with middleware (e.g., MuleSoft/Boomi) when required.

- Data & Governance : Own data model, Data Cloud mappings/segments, data migration (Data Loader/API), validation, dedupe, shield, and field-level security.

- Quality & DevOps : Enforce test coverage, static code analysis, performance checks; manage CI/CD (Git, GitHub/Bitbucket, Azure DevOps/Jenkins, Copado/Gearset), environment strategy, and release governance.

- UX & UCD : Apply user-centered design best practices to craft performant, accessible Lightning experiences for dispatchers, field techs, and call-center agents.

- Stakeholder Management : Partner with Product, PMO, and Business to groom backlogs, estimate, plan sprints, and communicate risks/mitigations.

- Supportability : Define runbooks, logging, monitoring, and handover for L2/L3 support; drive RCA and preventative fixes.


Required Skills :

- Strong domain knowledge in Salesforce FSL, Service Cloud, Sales Cloud, Data Cloud.

- Deep expertise on the Force.com platform (Apex, LWC, Aura, Flows, Integration, Security).

- Proven track record as a Salesforce Technical Lead delivering multi-cloud programs.

- Solid grasp of user-centered design, accessibility, and performance best practices.

- Excellent problem-solving, communication, code review, and mentoring skills.

- High attention to detail and design aesthetics within Lightning.


Nice to Have :

- Experience with MuleSoft/Boomi, Event-Driven patterns (Platform Events/CDC), Async Apex, and Large Data Volumes.

- Knowledge of Salesforce Mobile, FSL Mobile app offline strategies, and Shield (encryption/audit).

Certifications (preferred) :

- Field Service Consultant, Service Cloud Consultant

- Data Cloud Consultant (plus), Platform Developer I/II

- Application/System Architect (strong plus)
