Technical Lead - SaaS Platform

Job Description :

Drive the architecture, system design, and evolution of a largescale SaaS platform on AWS. Lead distributed systems engineering, set technical standards, conduct critical code reviews, mentor engineering leads, and continuously improve performance, observability, and microservice reliability.

About the Role :

You will be the technical champion for a multitenant SaaS product, shaping its future on cloud infrastructure. The role requires handson development, strategic design decisions, and leadership across crossfunctional teams to ensure the platform scales securely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities :

- Define and evolve the SaaS architecture and roadmap on AWS, ensuring scalability and resilience.

- Lead the design and implementation of distributed systems and microservices.

- Establish and enforce technical standards, coding best practices, and security guidelines.

- Perform critical code reviews and provide mentorship to senior engineers and team leads.

- Optimize system performance, reliability, and observability through monitoring, logging, and tracing.

- Guide containerization and orchestration strategies using Docker and Kubernetes.

- Collaborate with product, productdesign, and operations teams to align technical solutions with business goals.

Required Skills :

- 8 - 13 years of professional software engineering experience.

- Strong expertise in Python with Django framework.

- Proficiency in Node.js and React for fullstack development.

- Deep experience designing and operating distributed systems for largescale, multitenant SaaS platforms.

- Handson experience with AWS services, including compute, storage, networking, and security.

- Solid knowledge of containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).

- Advanced SQL skills with PostgreSQL, including schema design and performance tuning.

- Proven ability to lead technical teams, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineers.
