Detailed Description :

We are hiring a contract technical lead to own and drive automation initiatives across the organization covering Python-based automation, RPA orchestration, and GenAI-enabled workflow automation.

This role will manage end-to-end delivery : use-case intake - solution design - build - deployment - monitoring - enhancements, while ensuring auditability, reliability, and measurable efficiency gains.

This role is expected to support and scale automation needs such as new requirements, changes, scope increases, and ongoing support/operations for Python bots using an orchestrator.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Automation Delivery & Program Ownership :

- Own the automation pipeline (intake, prioritization, delivery plan, stakeholder updates, release governance).

- Convert business workflows into automation blueprints with clear inputs/outputs, controls, and exception handling.

- Define success metrics (cycle-time reduction, productivity uplift, quality/error-rate improvement).

2. Python Automation Engineering (Core) :

- Build and maintain Python automation services/bots for data extraction, reconciliation, validations, and reporting.

- Implement robust logging, retries, idempotency, error handling, and audit trails for every automated step.

- Develop APIs/services (e.g., FastAPI-style backend services) and integrate with internal systems as needed.

3. Orchestration & RPA Integration :

- Manage bot scheduling, run controls, monitoring, and incident response through an automation orchestrator.

- Provide L2/L3 support for production automations; ensure bot uptime and controlled change deployment.

4. GenAI / Intelligent Automation (Preferred but Valuable) :

- Build agentic/LLM-enabled components for workflow automation (e.g., intelligent triage, document understanding, automated communications, and insights).

- Implement workflow orchestration patterns (e.g., LangGraph/LangChain-style pipelines) where appropriate.

5. Data, Controls & Compliance-by-Design :

- Ensure automations are traceable, explainable, and audit-ready (run logs, evidence snapshots, versioning).

- Enforce access controls, secrets management, and least-privilege integrations.
