Role : Technical Lead - .NET Backend (Industrial Automation Platforms)

Kemar Automation is a leading provider of digitalization and automation solutions across ports, logistics, and manufacturing industries. Our platforms (KYMS, KGOS, UrgeTruck) integrate RFID, IoT, OCR, and enterprise systems to enable real-time operational visibility and automation.

Role Overview :

We are looking for a hands-on Technical Lead (.NET Backend) who can take ownership of our core backend systems and lead the transition toward scalable, microservices-based architecture.

This is a high-impact role involving real-time systems that directly control and optimize field operations such as gate automation, yard management, and logistics workflows.

Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership :

- Own the backend architecture for Kemars platforms

- Drive transition from monolithic systems to microservices architecture

- Define coding standards, design patterns, and best practices

- Conduct code reviews and mentor developers

System Design & Development :

- Design and develop high-performance .NET Core / ASP.NET Core applications

- Build scalable REST APIs and distributed systems

Design systems for :

2. Fault tolerance

3. Real-time processing

Integration & Real-World Systems :

Lead integrations with :

i. RFID systems

iii. IoT devices

iv. ERP / SAP / TOS systems

- Ensure seamless communication between hardware and software layers

Production Ownership :

- Handle live production environments

- Design for:

b. Retry mechanisms

c. Alerting & monitoring

- Troubleshoot critical issues impacting operations

Cross-Functional Collaboration :

- Work closely with :

I. Project delivery teams

III. Customers & stakeholders

- Translate business requirements into technical solutions

Tech Stack (Must Have) :

- .NET Core / ASP.NET Core

- C#

- RESTful API design

- SQL Server / PostgreSQL

- Microservices architecture

- Messaging systems (Kafka / RabbitMQ preferred)

Good to Have :

- Experience with IoT / RFID / industrial systems

- Knowledge of event-driven architecture

- Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure / AWS)

- Basic understanding of frontend (React / Angular)

Experience Required :

- 5 to 10+ years in backend development

- At least 2+ years in a leadership / senior role

- Proven experience in building and scaling production systems
