Position Summary :

We are looking for an experienced .NET Technical Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of enterprise applications built on both legacy VB.NET systems and modern .NET / .NET Core platforms. The ideal candidate will lead a team of developers, own technical architecture decisions, and act as the bridge between business requirements and engineering execution - while also being hands-on with code reviews, complex modules, and legacy system maintenance/migration.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead end-to-end design, development, testing, and deployment of applications built on VB.NET, C#, ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core, and .NET Framework/.NET Core.

- Own technical architecture decisions for new modules and enhancements to existing systems.

- Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards, design patterns, and best practices across the team.

- Provide hands-on support for complex development tasks, debugging, and performance tuning.

- Guide the team on legacy VB.NET code maintenance, refactoring, and migration strategy toward modern .NET / .NET Core where applicable.

- Break down business requirements into technical tasks, estimate effort, and manage sprint/release planning.

- Mentor and upskill team members, especially on legacy-to-modern stack transitions.

Mandatory Technical Skills :

- VB.NET - strong hands-on experience maintaining and enhancing legacy applications.

- C# and .NET Framework / .NET Core.

- ASP.NET / ASP.NET Core (MVC or Web API).

- SQL Server - complex queries, stored procedures, performance tuning.

- Strong understanding of OOP principles and design patterns.

- Experience with legacy application modernization or VB.NET-to-C# migration projects.

- Version control tools (Git / TFS / Azure DevOps).

Education and Experience :

- Qualification : BE / B.Tech / MCA in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

- Overall Experience : 10 - 14 Years.

- Minimum 2 - 3 Years in a Technical Lead / Team Lead capacity.

- Proven experience supporting or modernizing VB.NET-based legacy applications.

- Notice Period : Immediate / Below 30 Days.

- Location Preference : Madurai / From Tamil Nadu willing to relocate to Madurai.

- Candidates with frequent job changes may not be considered.

- Without mandatory VB.NET experience, profiles will not be considered.
