We are looking for a deeply hands-on Technical Lead to drive the technical direction and engineering excellence for the services underpinning our market-leading B2B SaaS Talent Acquisition Platform in our Bangalore office.

As a Technical Lead, youll take ownership of the applications and services the Talent Acquisition Platform offers. Youll stay hands-on in writing and reviewing production code to ensure our platform is scalable, reliable, and continuously evolving to meet enterprise client needs. You will architect solutions, ensure the timely development of features, mentor talented engineers, and remain actively involved with team operations.

What You'll Do : Core Responsibilities :

Team Leadership and Collaboration :

- Lead a team of skilled Software and Quality Engineers, inspiring them to deliver their best work.

- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Project Managers, and Engineering Managers to execute the product roadmap seamlessly.

Cutting-Edge Technology Stack :

- Dive into exciting technologies, including .NET Core, Angular, JavaScript, DynamoDB, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, Jenkins, and GitHub.

- As part of an agile Scrum team, youll contribute to building robust solutions.

Ownership :

- Write and review production code to set and maintain rigorous quality standards, ensuring solutions are robust, efficient, and maintainable under enterprise load.

- Take ownership end-to-end from architecture and incidents to monitoring and infrastructure.

Engineering Excellence and Design :

- Guide engineering aspects, from initial design to test automation and implementation.

- Collaborate across teams to architect scalable, resilient, and elegant solutions.

Strategic Planning and Roadmap Execution :

- Actively participate in roadmap planning sessions, ensuring alignment with business goals.

- Estimate delivery timelines accurately and execute flawlessly.

Technology Exploration and Implementation :

- Research and recommend new technologies or tools that enhance system performance, stability, and development processes.

- Be the catalyst for adopting best practices and cutting-edge approaches.

Security and Scalability Champion :

- Ensure that our full-stack software solutions adhere to security best practices.

- Architect systems that can scale effortlessly as our user base grows.

Innovation and Reliability Advocate :

- Investigate emerging technologies and processes.

- Prototype solutions that elevate the feature set, speed, and reliability of our CRM platform.

Deployment and Support :

- Participate in production deployments, ensuring smooth transitions.

- Provide technical troubleshooting and debug support when needed.

Technical Documentation and Mentorship :

- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation.

- Mentor junior developers, sharing your expertise and fostering their growth.

- Ensure the team has the necessary resources, knowledge, and tools to succeed in achieving objectives and delivering solutions effectively.

Roadmap Contribution :

- Collaborate closely with Product and Engineering peers, providing technical insights and estimates to contribute meaningfully to roadmaps and long-term planning.

Risk & Planning :

- Balance design choices with cost efficiency and scalability, and proactively spot risks early to propose practical solutions.

End-to-End Ownership :

- Take full ownership end-to-endfrom architecture and infrastructure to monitoring and incident managementfor your owned platform services.

Cloud Operations :

- Own AWS/GCP-hosted services and ensure they run smoothly and reliably at scale. Evolve infrastructure to stay modern and efficient.

Compliance :

- Build security into every stage of development and hosting. Keep compliance documentation clear, current, and accessible for B2B standards.

What You Bring :

Technical Expertise (Primary Focus) :

- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with a proven track record of leading projects or technically guiding teams.

- 2+ Years of experience leading Software development projects and a team of Engineers

- Core Language Mastery : Deep and proven expertise in C#/.NET Core and associated frameworks. (Or expertise with any other high-level programming language, with willingness to learn new languages as needed.)

- Database Expertise : Solid knowledge of Relational Databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and experience with NoSQL solutions like MongoDB.
- Cloud-Native : Experience designing, developing, and operating services using Cloud Platforms (AWS and/or GCP).

- B2B SaaS Focus : Strong understanding of the architectural needs for high-availability, multi-tenant B2B SaaS applications.

- Scalability : Expertise in Microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and advanced system components like caching (e.g., Redis).

- Process : Comfort with Agile practices and continuous planning.

Leadership & Attributes :

- A passion for mentoring and enabling other engineers to perform at their best.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work seamlessly with cross-functional and global teams.

- Agility to independently own and build initial solutions, executing rapid POCs to de-risk key technical decisions.

- Ability to lead the team with confidence during incidents and technical change requests. Analytical skills to drive data-informed decisions on quality and performance targets.

Nice to Have :

- Experience with Single Page Application (SPA) frameworks like Angular or React.

- Experience in the broader Talent Acquisition domain.

- Knowledge of emerging capabilities in Large Language Models (LLMs) and AI, and their potential integration into user-facing solutions.

- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
