Technical Lead/Manager - Artificial Intelligence

Technical Team Lead | Lead a High-Impact Engineering Team for a Global AI Company. A fast-scaling AI infrastructure startup backed by strong revenue, developer traction, and global growth is expanding into Abu Dhabi. Were looking for a Technical Team Lead to spearhead engineering efforts from the region. This is a flagship leadership opportunity to shape the technical culture, build the local team from the ground up, and drive projects that power LLMs, AI agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems used by thousands globally.

What Youll Do :

- Build, mentor, and lead a growing engineering team (310 members) in Abu Dhabi.

- Own delivery of high-impact technical initiatives in AI infrastructure, backend systems, and developer tooling.

- Act as the technical bridge between Abu Dhabi, Tel Aviv, and NYC teams to ensure seamless collaboration.

- Be deeply hands-on with code, while also driving architecture, sprint planning, and team growth.

- Establish engineering best practices and a high-performance culture in a rapidly scaling environment.

What Were Looking For :

- 1217 years of experience in backend, infrastructure, or machine learning domains.

- Proven leadership 8+ years managing engineering teams in fast-paced settings.

- Strong knowledge of Python, FastAPI, cloud-native systems (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD.

- Deep experience with AI agent frameworks, LangChain, vector databases, and modern LLM APIs.

- Passion for team-building, technical excellence, and cross-time-zone coordination.
