Role Overview :

As a Tech Lead specializing in Java Microservices, you will spearhead the design, development, and deployment of high-scale, resilient distributed systems.

You will act as the primary technical anchor, collaborating closely with product managers, architects, and cross-functional engineering teams to translate complex business requirements into robust technical solutions.

By driving architectural excellence and mentoring high-performing developers, you will directly influence the scalability and performance of our core platforms, ensuring a seamless experience for millions of end-users while maintaining the highest standards of code quality and system reliability.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and implement scalable microservices using Java and Spring Boot to ensure high availability and performance for mission-critical business applications.

- Lead the end-to-end development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to deployment and monitoring, to deliver high-impact features that meet evolving customer needs.

- Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes to optimize resource utilization and streamline deployment pipelines across cloud environments.

- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through rigorous code reviews and technical guidance to foster a culture of engineering excellence and continuous improvement.

- Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical roadmaps, ensuring that architectural decisions align with long-term business objectives and scalability requirements.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex production issues, implementing proactive monitoring and automated recovery strategies to minimize downtime and enhance system stability.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated expertise in building enterprise-grade applications using Java and Spring Boot, with a deep understanding of design patterns and clean code principles.

- Proven ability to design and manage complex Microservices Architecture, including experience with service discovery, API gateways, and distributed tracing.

- Hands-on experience in managing container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes, ensuring efficient scaling and fault tolerance in production environments.

- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead collaborative problem-solving sessions.

- A track record of working effectively in a hybrid work environment in Bangalore, demonstrating self-motivation and the ability to drive projects independently.

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, complemented by 8 - 10 years of progressive experience in software engineering and technical leadership.
