The Role & Impact:

We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and hands-on Technical Lead, Engineering to lead, mentor, and scale our high-performing development team at our Noida Sector 125 office. In this role, you will have complete ownership and accountability for high-quality, timely software delivery within a fast-paced Agile environment.

You won't just manage tasks; you will guide a team of 4 - 8 talented engineers, architect scalable Microservices applications, conduct rigorous design and code reviews, and drive practical adoption of modern AI-assisted engineering tools (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude, Cursor, and Amazon Q Developer) to maximize team productivity and code quality. You will act as the critical technical bridge between product owners, architects, and engineering squads.

Key Responsibilities:

- Team Leadership & Ownership: Lead, mentor, groom, and manage a team of 4 - 8 software engineers, taking complete ownership and accountability for timely, high-quality feature releases and sprint deliverables.

- Architecture & Microservices Design: Lead the design and end-to-end development of robust enterprise applications based on a scalable Microservices architecture.

- Technical Guidance & Code Governance: Conduct thorough design and code reviews, troubleshoot complex multi-tier technical issues, and provide hands-on coding guidance to resolve architectural bottlenecks.

- Modern Tech Stack Mastery: Guide team members across modern technologies including Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Angular, Hibernate, Grails, Groovy, Kafka, R, Redis, Hazelcast, Bootstrap, and jQuery.

- AI-Assisted Engineering Adoption: Promote and govern the effective, responsible adoption of AI-assisted software engineering tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Amazon Q Developer) for coding, refactoring, test generation, and documentation.

- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, Project Managers, Database teams, and QA teams to deliver technical PoCs and enterprise product features using Agile methodologies.

- Engineering Best Practices: Define, improve, and enforce strict engineering standards covering architecture, design principles, code reviews, unit testing, and technical documentation.

- People Management & Hiring: Conduct annual appraisals, participate in semi-annual feedback cycles, and own the hiring and career progression roadmap for team members.

Mandatory Qualifications:

- Education: BE / B.Tech / MCA from a recognized institute with a strong academic background.

- Experience: 8 - 12 years of overall professional IT experience, with at least 6+ years of hands-on full-stack programming experience across Java-based technologies and frameworks.

- Core Technical Expertise: Strong, proven experience with Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate-based web application development, and modern frontend frameworks (Angular).

- Enterprise Architecture: Strong background in designing and developing high-performance, scalable, secure, and highly available enterprise web applications end-to-end.

- Database Competency: Good working exposure to relational databases such as MySQL and Oracle.

- Cloud & DevOps Tooling: Practical experience leveraging AWS cloud services (minimum 4 years), Git, Nginx, Jira, Confluence, and Jenkins within Agile methodologies.

- AI Tooling Exposure: Practical, hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Amazon Q Developer, Cursor, Claude Code) and an understanding of secure, responsible AI usage.

- Leadership Traits: Proven experience handling a team of 4 - 8 engineers, exceptional problem-solving skills, and outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.

Important Job Insights:

- Work Location & Schedule: This is a 5 days work-from-office role based out of our Noida Sector 125 office (Mandatory).

- Relocation Preference: Open to relocation candidates from North India.

- Preferred Industry Background: Candidates with prior experience in Fintech or Enterprise Product-based companies will be given strong preference.

- Joining Timeline: We are looking for early joiners with a maximum notice period or transition time of 60 days.
