Technical Lead - Frontend Development

We're looking for a highly experienced and passionate Technical Lead - Frontend (Next.js) to drive the development of our cutting-edge user interfaces. With 8+ years of proven experience, you'll lead a team in building scalable, high-performance web applications using Next.js, ensuring exceptional user experiences. Key Responsibilities :

- Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of frontend developers, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex, scalable web applications using Next.js and its ecosystem.

- Architect robust and maintainable frontend solutions, ensuring optimal performance, responsiveness, and user experience.

- Drive the adoption of best practices in frontend development, including clean code, testing strategies, accessibility, and performance optimization.

- Collaborate closely with backend developers, product managers, UI/UX designers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and deliver features end-to-end.

- Conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and ensure adherence to coding standards and architectural guidelines.

- Research and evaluate new frontend technologies, tools, and frameworks, recommending their adoption where appropriate to enhance productivity and quality.

- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, supporting their growth and technical skill development.

- Contribute to the overall technical strategy and roadmap for frontend development.

Required Qualifications :

- 8+ years of proven experience in frontend development, with a strong focus on modern JavaScript frameworks.

- Deep expertise and hands-on experience with Next.js for building server-rendered and static-generated React applications.

- Strong proficiency in React.js and its core principles, including hooks, context API, and component lifecycle.

- Expert-level knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.

- Experience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Recoil.

- Solid understanding of frontend build tools like Webpack, Babel, or Vite.

- Experience with version control systems, primarily Git.

- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility.

- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with experience mentoring development teams.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with TypeScript.

- Knowledge of testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.

- Familiarity with monorepo setups (Lerna, Nx).

- Experience with cloud platforms and deploying Next.js applications ( Vercel, AWS Amplify, Netlify).

- Understanding of SEO best practices for Next.js applications.

- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
