Role and responsibilities :

This position is a Tech leadership role. Working as part of a team you would be responsible for :

- Defining and enforcing the release and build management processes and pattern.

- Design and deployment in Agile DevOps environment.

- Work on Oracle cloud and On-prem cloud migration & automation projects

- Manage and maintain Kubernetes nodes and cluster.

- Owning best practices, implementation of quality standards, PR & code reviews

- Working in collaboration with engineers & architects in US

- Building up environments independently to test assigned work

- Experience with implementing "infrastructure as code", pipeline as code and "security as code" to enable continuous integration and delivery.

- Experience in developing POCs and participate in customer demonstrations.

- Presenting the results and outcomes to various stakeholders forums.

- Investigate customer problems referred by technical support.

- Engage and participate on an Agile team of a world-class software developers.

- Apply independence and creativity to problem solving across project assignments.

- Effectively communicate with team members, project managers and clients, as required.

Technical skills requirements :

The candidate must demonstrate proficiency in :

- 8+ years of overall IT experience with at least 5+ years of strong experience in DevOps.

- Experience with CI/CD pipeline with detailed understanding of Git, Jenkins, Gitlab CI, Artifactory, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm Terraform, Chef and Ansible.

- Hands on experience in automating the agile application lifecycle including provision, build, test, harden, deploy activities.

- Experience in working with Oracle OCI cloud.

- Hands on experience with scripting language like pearl, shell and Python

- Knowledge and experience with building production grade solutions using Cloud services such as EC2, ECS, ELB, Route53, Cloudwatch, MultiAZ, VPC, IAM, WAF, Cognito etc.

- Experience in creating and maintaining Kubernetes clusters in both cloud and on-premises setup.

- Automation and Deployment tools like Terraform/ Chef / Ansible / Puppet

- Experience in implementing and managing monitoring tools like Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Alertmanager etc.

- Experience in implementing and managing logging tools like ElasticSearch, Logstash, Fluent-bit, Kibana etc.

- Experience with Shell scripting, Python, Powershell etc.

- Experience in setting up production grade DevOps process for multiple environment setup (Dev, QA, UAT, Stage, Prod etc.)

- Experience in building CI/CD pipeline for a Micro Services based SaaS application.

- Experience in build tools like Ant / Maven / Gradle.

- Experience in binary Repository tools like Artifactory / Nexus.

- Experience and expertise in setting up code analysis tools like SonarQube / Checkstyle /PMD / Findbugs.

- Strong familiarity with any Linux operating system like Ubuntu / CentOS etc.

- Strong computer science fundamentals, and algorithms.

- Test Driven Development (TDD) mindset and orientation of 100% test automation.

Nice-to-have skills :

- Experience in working with any NOSQL database e.g. MongoDB / Cassandra.

- Experience in working with Kafka, Zookeeper etc will be good advantage.

- Knowledge and expertise on Python and Python Web, Django

Qualifications :

- 8+ years of work experience in systems or application DevOps and Release management

- 5 + years of team management experience.

- B.Tech., M.Tech. or MCA degree from a reputed university
