Technical Lead - Data Engineering

Description :

- Lead the design, development, and optimization of data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and

backend systems.

- Architect and implement scalable solutions using Snowflake and SQL Server.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Data Engineering, DevOps, Product, and

Architecture to build robust solutions.

- Drive best practices in source control (GIT), code quality, deployment processes, and

documentation.

- Develop backend components and APIs using .NET technologies.

- Troubleshoot complex data and system issues, ensuring high availability and performance.

- Mentor and guide team members, perform code reviews, and foster technical excellence.

- Stay current with modern data engineering and cloud practices, recommending relevant

improvements.

Qualifications & Skills :

Mandatory Skills :

- Strong experience with GIT for version control and branching strategies

- Experience with ELT/ETL tools (Matillion, Informatica, Fivetran, etc.)

- Solid proficiency in SQL Server (T-SQL, performance tuning, stored procedures)

- Strong development background in .NET / C#

Good to Have Skills :

- Understanding of Prompt Engineering and AI-driven data workflows

- Working knowledge of Kafka and Spark Streaming

- Experience with AWS data services (Glue, Lambda, S3, Redshift, etc.)

- Exposure to DBT for data transformations

- Experience in building scalable data platforms or real-time data solutions

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability

- Leadership qualities with experience mentoring teams

- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments
