Role Overview :

As a Technical Lead for CMS & Integration, you will serve as the primary architect for our clients' digital content ecosystems. You will bridge the gap between high-level business requirements and technical execution, leading a team of developers to build robust, headless, or traditional CMS solutions that integrate seamlessly with enterprise middleware and third-party APIs. Your day-to-day involves navigating complex architectural challenges, mentoring engineering talent, and ensuring that the technical output aligns with long-term scalability and performance goals. By driving these integrations, you directly influence the speed-to-market and operational efficiency of our clients' digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect and oversee the implementation of scalable CMS solutions that support high-traffic digital platforms and complex content workflows.

- Design and maintain secure API integrations between CMS platforms, CRM systems, and enterprise data warehouses to ensure seamless data synchronization.

- Lead technical discovery sessions with stakeholders to translate business objectives into functional technical specifications and project roadmaps.

- Conduct rigorous code reviews and establish engineering best practices to ensure high-quality, maintainable, and performant code across the development team.

- Troubleshoot and resolve critical system bottlenecks, ensuring high availability and optimal performance for integrated digital ecosystems.

- Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence within a distributed remote environment.

Required Skillset :

- Demonstrated expertise in architecting and deploying enterprise-grade CMS platforms, with a deep understanding of both headless and traditional content architectures.

- Proven ability to design and manage complex RESTful and GraphQL API integrations, ensuring robust communication between decoupled systems.

- Strong proficiency in modern web technologies and backend frameworks, with the ability to select the right stack for specific business use cases.

- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and lead cross-functional project teams.

- A minimum of 6 to 8 years of professional experience in software engineering, with a significant portion dedicated to CMS development and system integration.

- Proven track record of thriving in a remote-first work environment, demonstrating self-discipline, proactive communication, and effective time management.

- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience that demonstrates a strong foundation in software engineering principles.

- Hands-on expertise in both Sitecore (current platform) and Liferay (migration target) - this is the primary requirement.

- Experience with IA implementation, content operations, page builds, and on-page SEO directly within the CMS (front-end configuration and prototyping; no backend development required).

- Ability to work in a bilingual Arabic and English environment, with awareness of WCAG 2.2 AA standards.

- Ability to collaborate closely with the client's technical team in the UAE time zone (02 : 00 PM to 10 P.M.) using client-provided access and credentials.
