Job Description :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Lead (Automation) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in automation frameworks, API testing, and end-to-end test automation, along with proven leadership in guiding automation teams.

This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams in a global delivery environment to ensure high-quality product releases.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead automation initiatives, including framework development, maintenance, and enhancement.

- Analyze user stories, perform design analysis, and create robust API test scenarios.

- Develop and execute automation test scripts using Java, JavaScript, RestAssured, and related tools.

- Validate APIs, integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines, and ensure seamless execution.

- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and deliver effective automation solutions.

- Ensure adherence to Agile and DevOps practices throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and support to junior automation engineers.

- Participate in requirement reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives to continuously improve automation processes.

- Monitor test coverage, identify gaps, and suggest improvements for quality assurance.

- Work in a diverse stakeholder environment, ensuring effective communication and alignment across teams.

- Support global delivery projects and ensure adherence to timelines and quality benchmarks.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

- Minimum 8 years of experience in test automation and QA engineering.

- Strong expertise in Java, JavaScript, RestAssured, and API automation frameworks.

- Solid understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), QA methodologies, and best practices.

- Hands-on experience with Agile and DevOps methodologies (CI/CD, Jenkins, Git, etc.).

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for working with global teams.

- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and handle multiple stakeholders.

Good to Have :

- Background in Telecom or Cable domain.

- Exposure to UI automation frameworks like Selenium or Cypr
