About the Role :


We are looking for a Technical Lead with strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and React JS to provide end-to-end application support and development for mission-critical Cards and Payments systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working in 24x7 production environments, possess strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, and demonstrate leadership in mentoring teams and driving improvements.


Primary Skills & Expertise :


- Java 1.8, Spring Boot, Microservices, React JS


- Cloud Development Experience (AWS/Azure/GCP)


- Monitoring Tools : New Relic, Splunk


- Domain Expertise : Cards and Payments, Banking Applications


- Application Support & Troubleshooting


Roles & Responsibilities :


- Oversee end-to-end application support and maintenance for Java, Spring Boot, React JS, and Microservices-based systems.


- Provide 24x7 production support ensuring minimal downtime and prompt incident resolution.


- Demonstrate strong Core Java, Microservices, and React JS coding expertise for debugging and enhancements. Perform log analysis and troubleshooting for complex production issues.


- Set up and manage New Relic and Splunk alerts, dashboards, and performance monitoring.


- Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities to enhance system stability.


- Write and maintain APIs interfacing with legacy applications and databases.


- Support and maintain cloud deployed applications ensuring high availability and scalability.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and business analysts to drive issue resolution.


- Mentor and lead junior engineers in troubleshooting, coding standards, and best practices.


- Maintain strong documentation and adhere to SLAs and compliance standards.


- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.


Required Qualifications :


- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.


- Minimum 8+ years of experience in application support and development roles.


- Proven experience in Payment/Card domain systems and Banking applications.


- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.


- Excellent communication and team leadership abilities.
