Technical Director - Communication/Network Protocols

Skills :

- Java or C software development background + Cloud (AWS or Azure) + Domain exp. in communication / Network protocols

Team Leadership :

- Oversee and manage a team of talented engineers, ensuring they have the resources and support needed to succeed.

- Mentor and develop engineers to enhance their technical skills and career growth.

- Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that values collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

Product Development :

- Define and execute the engineering strategy for our CPaaS platform, aligning with business objectives and market trends.

- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality engineering solutions that meet or exceed customer expectations.

Technical Expertise :

- Have a deep understanding of CPaaS technologies and architectures, including SMS, voice, WhatsApp,RCS and other communication channels.

- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to identify opportunities for innovation.

- Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, resolving complex technical challenges as needed.

Description :

- Strong leadership and communication skills with a track record of delivering complex projects

- Strong hands-on experience in Java development and system design.

- Deep understanding of SIP, RTP, UDP, and real-time communication protocols.

- Proven expertise in MySQL and Oracle performance tuning and query optimization.

- Solid grasp of network programming, multithreading, and low-latency systems.

- Experience in performance engineering and troubleshooting complex system bottlenecks.

- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.

- Knowledge of automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Selenium) and scripting.

- Applied cloud-native principles to optimize application scalability and maintainability, leveraging container orchestration and automated deployment pipelines.

- Proficient Project Management in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, supported by tools such as Jira and MS Project for sprint planning, backlog grooming, and milestone tracking etc.
