As an architect you would understand Marketing Requirements and translate them to detailed Systems Requirements, Test Plans and Programming Models for one or more subsystems in the chip.
This role requires a holistic view of the system, accounting for various customer use cases and crafting versatile, modular, scalable solutions that meet current and future use cases.
The solutions shall ensure compliance with the applicable standards. The solutions shall account for the capabilities and limitations of the applicable technologies.
You would guide the ASIC team from Architecture stage all the way till production. You would provide guidance by providing system level view, clarifying requirements, reviewing architecture, design documents, test plans, test results etc.
You would be monitoring all aspects of the subsystem you own and be the primary person to sign off.
You would work with Marketing, Architecture and all product development teams throughout the chip development process to ensure the chip meets all the requirements.
You would also work with the customer teams understanding their requirements, issues and drive solutions to address them.
As the chips target communication market, they include RF circuits, DSP systems, Packet processing and/or multi-CPU SOC environments.
A deep understanding, expertise and proven industry experience in one or more of these domains is required for the role.
