Technical Delivery Manager :

The Technical Delivery Manager will play a key leadership role within a data-focused solutions delivery team. This role requires hands-on experience with data technologies, project delivery, team leadership, and operational support. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing a team of 78 professionals, ensuring successful execution of data projects, and maintaining high performance and productivity.

Key Responsibilities :

- Own end-to-end delivery of assigned data projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and outcomes are met.

- Oversee daily operations, including addressing production issues and resolving user-reported problems.

- Ensure optimal resource utilization and team productivity across multiple initiatives.

- Provide technical guidance to the team, helping resolve design and implementation challenges.

- Allocate and track tasks for 1015 team members across various projects.

- Lead performance management activities for a team of 78 professionals.

- Serve as a coach and mentor, supporting professional and technical development.

- Communicate regularly with project stakeholders to report status, discuss risks, and share updates.

- Proactively identify growth opportunities and align team members with the right projects and training.

- Act on team feedback regarding training needs or operational improvements.

- Collaborate with onshore counterparts to ensure alignment and success in joint project delivery.

- Support both project and operational goals, balancing multiple priorities effectively.

Required Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

- 910 years of experience in IT with a strong focus on data technologies.

- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory and Azure cloud services.

- Experience with tools such as SQL, Unix, ETL platforms, and cloud-based data solutions.

- Ability to write or review code and provide technical solutions when necessary.

- Proven experience managing data operations and support activities.

- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- At least 6.5 years of experience leading data projects and operations.

- Minimum 5 years of people management experience, including coaching and mentoring.

- Direct experience managing teams of 7 or more individuals.

- Familiarity with project management methodologies; PMP or similar certification is a plus.

- Experience with Azure-based technologies is highly desirable.
