Job Description :

Pre sales technical consultant.

As a Commvault Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, designing data management and backup solutions using Commvault's products, and presenting these solutions to potential clients.

This role requires a deep technical understanding of Commvault's offerings, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Customer Engagement :

- Collaborate with sales teams to understand customer needs and challenges.

- Engage with potential clients to gather technical requirements and assess their current IT infrastructure.

Solution Design :

- Design and architect data management, backup, and recovery solutions using Commvault's products.

- Create technical proposals and documentation that outline the proposed solutions and their benefits.

Product Demonstrations :

- Conduct product demonstrations to showcase the functionality and features of Commvault's solutions.

- Address technical questions and concerns during demonstrations to build customer confidence.

Technical Expertise :

- Stay current with Commvault's product offerings and updates.

- Provide in-depth technical knowledge and guidance to both internal teams and external customers.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with the sales team, product management, and engineering teams to ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to post-sales activities.

- Collaborate with other pre-sales engineers to share best practices and optimize solution

designs.

Training and Support :

- Conduct training sessions for internal teams and customers on Commvault's products.

- Provide ongoing support to customers during the evaluation and implementation phases.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- Proven experience as a pre-sales engineer, solutions architect, or a similar role.

- In-depth knowledge of Commvault's data management and backup solutions.

- Strong presentation and communication skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Relevant certifications in Commvault products are a plus.
