Technical Consultant - Oracle EBS Module

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Oracle EBS Technical Consultant to join our team and support critical business operations within our Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) environment. This is a senior-level role focused on technical development, application support, and customizations within

Oracle EBS R12, particularly across Order Management and Planning modules.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Oracle technologies, strong development experience, and a proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues in high-pressure environments. You will work closely with functional teams, business stakeholders, and other IT team members to enhance, support, and optimize the Oracle EBS platform.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze, design, and implement customizations and extensions using Oracle PL/SQL, Forms, Reports, Workflows, and Concurrent Programs.

- Develop and maintain custom interfaces, conversions, and APIs for data integrations between Oracle EBS and third-party systems.

- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the Oracle EBS platform with minimal supervision.

- Conduct root cause analysis and implement permanent resolutions for recurring incidents.

- Perform SQL query optimization and Oracle database performance tuning to improve system performance.

- Build and manage batch jobs, shell scripts, and automated processes in Unix/Linux environments.

- Design and maintain integrations using Oracle standard APIs, ensuring data consistency and performance across systems.

- Develop and maintain custom reports using Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, and Web ADI tools.

- Document all technical developments, configurations, and support procedures to ensure maintainability.

- Work closely with functional analysts and business users to gather technical requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.

- Participate in change control, impact analysis, testing, and production rollout activities.

- Exposure to Oracle Applications Framework (OAF) is a plus.

- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git), issue tracking (e.g., Jira), and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow) is beneficial.

Required Qualifications :

- 10+ years of experience in Oracle EBS technical development and support.

- Hands-on expertise in:

- Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, Forms, Reports, and Workflows.

- Oracle R12 modules, especially Order Management and Planning.

- Oracle Database versions 11g/12c/19c.

- Developing and maintaining APIs, Interfaces, and Concurrent Programs.

- Strong proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting.

- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused attitude
