Technical Consultant - BMC Truesight

Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Truesight Orchestration (TSO) L2 Support Engineer to join our IT operations team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with BMCs Truesight Orchestration suite, strong problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to incident and issue resolution.

Responsibilities And Duties :

System Monitoring and Management :

- Monitor and manage BMC Truesight Orchestration environments to ensure optimal performance and availability.

- Respond to and resolve alerts and incidents within defined SLAs.

- Analyse system logs, identify issues, and perform corrective actions.

Incident and Problem Management :

- Provide L2 support for Truesight Orchestration issues, escalating to L3 when necessary.

- Perform root cause analysis on recurring issues and implement corrective measures.

- Work closely with the L1 team to ensure knowledge transfer and provide guidance on resolving common issues.

Change and Configuration Management :

- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of Truesight Orchestration components.

- Participate in change management processes, ensuring that changes are properly tested and documented.

- Maintain configuration documentation and ensure compliance with internal standards.

Automation and Scripting :

- Develop and maintain automation scripts to improve the efficiency of TSO operations.

- Work on enhancing existing workflows and creating new ones to optimize operations.

Documentation and Reporting :

- Maintain up-to-date technical documentation related to TSO processes and procedures.

- Generate and present reports on system performance, incidents, and resolutions.

Collaboration and Communication :

- Collaborate with other IT teams (network, security, application teams) to resolve complex issues.

- Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding system status, incidents, and resolutions.

Qualifications :

Education level :

- MSC in Computer Science / BE / Btech in Computer Engineering.

Experience :

- 5 to 6 Years experience in System.

Primary/Mandatory skills :

- Microsoft Windows OS knowledge, Linux Basics commands knowledge.

Secondary/Additional Preferred skills :

- Certification in any Computer field.

Certification :

- BMC Certified Associate in Truesight Orchestration.
