Job Title : Technical Business Analyst

Job Purpose :

- Evaluate the current application support structure and develop or improve the support model to align with strategic goals. Champion change by improving processes through simplicity, agility, and modernization.

- Work closely with cross-functional stakeholders by actively listening, responding to feedback, and adapting to change, challenges, and performance input.

- Collaborate with the Agile Project Manager, Technical Leads, and IT Product Owners to create and refine development tickets, backlog sequencing plans, and alignment with overall strategic goals and roadmaps.

- Demonstrate a strong understanding of critical technical concepts and requirements, and recommend IT solutions that provide a competitive advantage.

- Break down high-level requirements into smaller, detailed technical tickets to estimate effort and timelines.

- Document feature deliverables clearly to support understanding and effective communication.

Duties and Responsibilities :

- Schedule and conduct requirements-gathering sessions with key stakeholders and subject matter experts.

- Develop detailed requirements, high-level technical details, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios in collaboration with IT team members assigned to the project.

- Communicate and collaborate with project team members including BSAs, UX designers, Product Owners, Technical Leads, and Scrum Masters to peer-review tickets.

- Demonstrate self-motivation with the ability to prioritize and track JIRA tickets and feature items.

- Present solutions in a manner that end users can understand and collaborate with stakeholders during user acceptance testing (UAT).

- Provide technical advice and support to the Product Owner for key decisions and effective management of technical debt.

- Identify and communicate technical constraints and dependencies to the Product Owner to support backlog prioritization and release planning.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.

- 10+ years of experience in a technical role (including 5+ years in a Business Systems Analyst role and 5+ years in related IT roles).

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong analytical mindset for problem-solving and delivering quality solutions.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

- Prior experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies in an Agile environment.

- Hands-on experience with technical documentation and project management/collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.

- Experience with JIRA, SQL, REST APIs, Swagger, and Postman.
