We are seeking a detail-oriented, self-driven, and highly motivated individual to join our team in a Software Development Engineer capacity, contributing to both engineering and analytics initiatives. As an Associate Technical Lead, you will play a critical role in designing and developing a robust, scalable, and flexible big data platform. This platform will serve as the backbone for collecting, storing, processing, and analyzing large volumes of structured and unstructured data from diverse sources. You will work at the intersection of software engineering and data infrastructure, ensuring that the system supports high performance, reliability, and future growth.

Key Responsibilities :

- Architect, design, and implement scalable, high-performance big data systems capable of handling large-scale data processing requirements.

- Develop and maintain solutions for ingesting, transforming, and managing data from multiple channels, ensuring data integrity and consistency.

- Collaborate closely with engineering and analytics teams to gather requirements, translate business needs into technical solutions, and deliver high-quality outcomes.

- Optimize system performance, ensuring low latency, high availability, and fault tolerance as data volume and complexity grow.

- Build modular, reusable, and maintainable components that allow the platform to evolve and adapt to future requirements with minimal friction.

- Ensure the stability and reliability of the platform through proper monitoring, logging, and error-handling mechanisms.

- Follow and promote best practices in backend development, system design, and code quality, including testing, documentation, and code reviews.

- Contribute to technical decision-making and provide mentorship or guidance to junior team members when needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Strong proficiency in Java, with a solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and best practices.

- Hands-on experience with the Spring Boot framework for building production-grade applications and RESTful services.

- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, including service decomposition, communication patterns, and scalability considerations.

- Strong foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms, with the ability to apply them effectively to solve real-world engineering problems.

- Experience in designing distributed systems and handling concurrency, scalability, and fault tolerance challenges.

- Familiarity with database technologies (SQL/NoSQL) and data processing frameworks is a plus.

- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
